With spring training starting up in the majors and college baseball season underway I am getting excited for the opening of the 2007 season in the Northwoods League. I hope to be one of your main sources for news about the Northwoods League teams and alumni. Check back often as I will be adding news and articles on a daily basis. This will be a big year in the Northwoods League with expansion to Green Bay and Battle Creek , former Milwaukee Brewer Jim Gantner named as manager of the Wisconsin Woodchucks , a few games airing on ESPNU , and surely more current and former players being drafted and hopefully more alumni reaching the majors.
